Art Workshops and Classes Offered by Gallery Artists

DRAWING - LEVEL I or Level II

This basic drawing course teaches you all you need to know to draw: shading, composition, colour theory, colour pencil technique, perspective. It is given both for enjoyment of drawing and as a solid foundation for those who wish to improve on their painting skills.
Level II is a more in depth continuation of level I.
January 19-March 23, Monday Evening, 7-9pm

WATERCOLOUR - LEVEL I

A class designed for the beginner. You will learn basic washes, special effects, composition and colour theory, while working from exercises to produce several paintings.
January 20 – March 24, Tuesday Afternoon 1-3pm or
Tuesday Evenings 7-9pm

WATERCOLOUR - LEVEL II

In this class you will complete several paintings, including a lighthouse, a windmill, a summer storm, and studies of trees Instructions and outlines will be provided.
January 21 – March25, Wednesday Afternoons 1-3 pm or
Wednesday Evenings 7-9pm

WATERCOLOUR - LEVEL III -Level IV

In this level you will complete several paintings, including some Ottawa Valley scenes, still life, people , lilies, tulips, iris’ and more. Instructions and outlines will be provided.
January 22- March 26th-Thursday Afternoons 1-3pm, or 7-9pm

Studio time also available during theses times for advanced students.
Classes are held at her Kanata Lakes Studio, behind the Centrum.
