Canadian Artist, Tricia Wilmot Savoie featured at Tay River Gallery

<h1><font face="verdana">Biography: Tricia Wilmot Savoie</font></h1> <div align="left"> <p>Born and raised in Montreal, Tricia developed an interest in art at a young age. In the mid 1990's she took drawing courses at John Abbott College. Tricia went on to study oils, and later watercolor, under Tanya Axuik & Barbara Simmons. Since moving to Ottawa, Tricia has participated in group exhibitions with The Ottawa Art Association, Manotick Art Association, Kanata Art Club, Nepean Fine Arts Association, ArtEast as well as juried solo shows (Cumberland Town Hall Gallery and Ottawa Gloucester Gallery) and group juried shows with ECOAA, ArtEast, Ottawa Art Festival and Rideau Valley Art Festival. Tricia has won various awards with Ottawa Art Association, Art East, Nepean Fine Art League and ECOAA.</p> <p>Tricia has a deep rooted passion for colour and light, and a great love of painting ‘en plein air’.
