Steve Coates is a fine art photographer from Kingston Ontario. He completed four years of college in the visual arts program , two years at St. Lawrence College in the Fine Art program and two years at Algonquin College in Ottawa. He has shown his photographic work in many galleries and shows in the Kingston area such as The Verb Gallery and the Merrickville Fine Art Festival as well as Artisans Alley here in Kingston.Travels to British Columbia, Nova Scotia and Quebec have provided plenty of subject matter and inspiration. He finds that living in Kingston he can easily travel to places like Algonquin Park or Charlston Lake as well as the local maintained Wildlife and Conservation Areas.
