Peter was born in Ottawa, Ontario Canada in 1961. His artistic talents began to reveal themselves in grade school when he discovered an interest in sketching various figures and scenes. He is mainly a self-taught artist but continued to develop his abilities throughout High School and University. He also attended the Ottawa School of Art where he was exposed to various mediums and techniques. Throughout the years, Peter has continued to develop his skills and abilities through private classes with some of the top local artists.
In 1998, he opened his own studio in Richmond, Ontario Canada where he enjoys painting various types of scenes including wildlife, landscape, and seascapes in an oil medium. He gets much of his inspiration from his local surroundings and also from places that he has visited over the years. Peter has traveled to different countries and he enjoys painting and sharing his vision of the places he has seen. His future works will include many international scenes that he captured while traveling abroad.
In addition to selling his original paintings, Peter also reproduces his work in the form of limited edition prints on either canvas giclée or by fine art rag paper made from 100% cotton. He also produces art cards from his paintings which are available in various dimensions. Peter’s unique style has gained him public recognition and a growing client base. He welcomes comments from everyone.
