Catherine Kelly was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in 1947. She has spent almost all of her life in Eastern Ontario and has been greatly influenced by her Ottawa Valley heritage. After many years with the public service, she is now working at various temporary jobs to support the two greatest loves of her life - photography and clothing design. Her photographic interests are wide ranging, from black and white film through digital. She tries to use the same principles for creating an image when designing clothing which should have impact while remaining practical.
