Tony Cresswell-Jones was born and educated in London, England. He studied art at London's St. Martin's Achool of Art and at Kingston Colege of Art, Kingston-upon-Thames.

A love of the many and varied forms of nature is the major source of inspiration for Tony's paintings. He has developed an impressionistic style preferring to use devices that emphasize colour and vitality. Tony's methods have evolved from the love of the wetness of watercolours and the viscous fluidity of oils. His works include broadly sweeping landscapes, marine and urban scenes, figures and portraits.
