As a figurative artist, Suzanne Goudreau has a particular fondness for oil and acrylic. After completing her collegial studies specialized in Architecture and then following courses in Civil Construction at the local University, Suzanne pursued her passion for Portraiture, Drawing, Classic Painting, Pastel and Mixed media by following courses and workshops both in Quebec and The United States.
Suzanne is a recipient of numerous prizes, honourable mentions and highly regarded selections. An honourable mention from Magazin’Art for Originality is merely one among such merits. Suzanne also participates in both group and solo exhibitions. Her art is currently featured at the Art et Culture Gallery in Old Montreal as well as at the Arte Bella Gallery on Crescent Street in Downtown Montreal. Furthermore, Suzanne can be found in the Magazin’Art Biennial Guide to Canadian Artists in Galleries and is a Signature member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada.
In addition to her many accomplishments, Suzanne has published two colouring albums and heads child- and adult-oriented workshops in technical drawing and painting. Moreover, the values that Suzanne holds dear allow her to further truly portray emotion through art, show us her versatility and the extent to which she can depict striking realism.
