Tara Heft is a fused-glass artist from the Ottawa area. At a very early age, Tara’s creative personality began taking shape while sitting in her high chair, keeping herself busy by drawing for hours. As time went on, she explored many other art mediums, and obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Bishop’s Univerity in 1998. Tara is a certified teacher, and has taught Visual Arts with the Ottawa Catholic School Board for 6 years. Tara discovered the magic of glass fusing a few short years ago, and fell in love with this art form. Since then she has established Mystara Boutique, her own fused glass jewellery business, which she now dedicates herself to full-time.
